Wandering Europe!
Here we go now

In May 2011 I set off on a 7 month journey. With nothing but a backpack on my back, my best friend by my side and a return ticket to EUROPE... Needless to say it was by far the most amazing 7 months of my absolute life!!! Somehow I was motivated enough (and stupid enough) to keep a travel blog going through the whole adventure, and so now, with technology being as fabulous as it is, our story is now roughly preserved on this silly blog.

MYKONOS

Is an absolutlely gorgeous island and we are so lucky to be spending four nights here. We are staying at Andriani's Guesthouse, a quaint place to stay that is so close to all the action! The town is a labryth, a maze of white houses, boutiques, shops, bars and restaurants. Everytime we enter town, we find ourselves completely disorientated and trying to find specific places is impossible! The motorists here are crazy they weave their way through the small lanes and i still can't understand how they manage not to knock over the tourists. In saying that, there are nowhere near as many Australian's here than there was at Athens.

There are tiny cats and kittens scattered all over the island, which makes for a peaceful atmosphere as they lounge around as if they are apart of the landscape. This one here was a cheeky thing that followed us around
He even tried to take my camera hostage!!!

Gorgeous windmills line the oceans edge of the town

We found a shot that is called 'Heidonism.' I got excited.

Although it's lovely and sunny here, the wind is pretty strong and can get really cold (last night i was stupid enough to go out in a dress, i think the whole island saw my underwear, opps.) The nightlife here is supposed to be epic, but we have yet to experience it as we had a quiet night in with beers and Russians last night (that was different experience for sure.) However we will check it out soon :D
