Wandering Europe!
Here we go now

In May 2011 I set off on a 7 month journey. With nothing but a backpack on my back, my best friend by my side and a return ticket to EUROPE... Needless to say it was by far the most amazing 7 months of my absolute life!!! Somehow I was motivated enough (and stupid enough) to keep a travel blog going through the whole adventure, and so now, with technology being as fabulous as it is, our story is now roughly preserved on this silly blog.

London

Our first day in London was, well, wet. But that didn't stop us! (Okay so it did take us an hour and a half to find our way home on their bus system, but before that we had a great time exploring.) We went to Westminster Abbey and saw Big Ben (which we find a hilarious name for a clock.) We saw St. Mary's cathedral and ate our home-made ham sandwhiches in St. James Park amongst the ducks and SQUIRRELS!!!!!! Before drinking cappucino's at Buckingham Palace and getting COMPLETELY saturated! We're currently staying with Sarah's cousin and a great bunch of Australians in a house just out of London, so convenient!

Day Two in England was spent frolicking through the Bourough Market for HOURS before heading to a show in the evening

It was love at first sight with the Bourough Market, we got carried awaylike two kids in a candy store! There were so many stalls filled with amazing foods and products... Not to mention free samples!!! Our wallets became emptier as our bags became more full. We bought beautiful pesto, Portugese orange marmalade, Brownies, Rosemary and Seasalt bread, a baquette, chocolates, turkish delight and fudge! Oh, and we had the most amazing fish and chips for lunch (English fish and chips puts Australia's fish and chips to absolute shame!) We headed back on the tube juggling our food supply, smiling the whole way :) Tonight we are going to a live show called 'Million Dollar Quartet' which we snapped up last minute tickets for 10 POUNDS!! Woohoo! So far, we love England and it's adorable accents and cute little taxis!
