Sorry, gone travelling.

In May 2011 I set off on a 7 month journey. With nothing but a backpack on my back, my best friend by my side and a return ticket to EUROPE... Needless to say it was by far the most amazing 7 months of my absolute life!!! Somehow I was motivated enough (and stupid enough) to keep a travel blog going through the whole adventure, and so now, with technology being as fabulous as it is, our story is now roughly preserved on this silly blog.

It's hard you know, saying goodbye to our family and friends, kissing our comfortable beds goodbye, waving a sad farewell to the lives we've called home for the last 18 years... But this is the adventure of travelling, right?

From bath we went to Bristol

We spent 5 hours in Bristol and in all honesty really weren't a fan of the place. After the lively Brighton and the gorgeous Bath, Bristol just seemed to lack personality in comparison! As they didn't have any places to leave luggage we were left with our packs, which restricts how much we can do and since how it was freezing we ended up loitering in a cute coffee shop for 2 hours before catching a bus to Manchester. However, I'm sure Bristol is lovely when you get a thorough look-in!

Manchester...

I had a small love affair with Manchester. It was so quirky and adorable- filled with street art and awesome vintage boutique stores. We even went to the 'Earth' cafe and ate a fully veagan meal (which was ridiculously spicey but so amazing!) We were only there for a measley 20 hours inbetween Bristol and Leeds and i wish we had longer! We stayed in the 'Hatters' hostel in an 18 bed dorm and had to experience our first communal showers (and in case you were wondering, yes, i still sang at the absolute top of my lungs!) Ah, I loved Manchester.
