Sorry, gone travelling.

In May 2011 I set off on a 7 month journey. With nothing but a backpack on my back, my best friend by my side and a return ticket to EUROPE... Needless to say it was by far the most amazing 7 months of my absolute life!!! Somehow I was motivated enough (and stupid enough) to keep a travel blog going through the whole adventure, and so now, with technology being as fabulous as it is, our story is now roughly preserved on this silly blog.

!BRUSSELS!

We spent four nights in Brussels. Staying with the sweetest host, Martina! Coincidentally we were in Brussels the same time as a massive Couch surfing summer bonanza- so we were going to big picnics and pub crawls, city tours and salsa classes which was sweeeeeet!

On our last day we were joined with our beautiful Australian friends, Domi and Alex, and spent a rainy day drinking Belgian beers, eating Belgian chips, getting lost in seedy suburbs, staring at the Manneke Pis (the statue of the boy who is peeing- very famous), killing bumble bees and chilling on the Hilton's amazingly comfortable beds... Oh i have missed those two!!! Saying goodbye was pretty hard... Oh well, only 5 more months until we return!
