La Hermosa Granada
We are saying in Granada for two nights, in the cute old town area. Granada is sweet as, lined with tapas bars and Morrocan hippie shops, and surrounded by mountains.. Ah, i may never leave. We arrived on the midnight train, so when we woke up at 7am and looked out the window the sun was rising over the countryside- it was seriously like movie. At night our friend took us to all the great tapas bars and the local hub- hazzah no tourists ;) Prepare to be bombarded with photography as this morning we visited Alhambra! This beautiful palace, that was built for the Muslim eris back in the 14th century, stands on a hill and overlooks Granada. We spent hours frolicking around Alhambra and loved every second of it, even if we were hungover and dead from the night before. Also the weather is hot here- all you Melbourne kids will be hating us right now- as we kick back with our 35 degrees and constant sun- it is overwhelming since we just came from Holland, but by god, i have missed the sun!
