Sorry, gone travelling.

In May 2011 I set off on a 7 month journey. With nothing but a backpack on my back, my best friend by my side and a return ticket to EUROPE... Needless to say it was by far the most amazing 7 months of my absolute life!!! Somehow I was motivated enough (and stupid enough) to keep a travel blog going through the whole adventure, and so now, with technology being as fabulous as it is, our story is now roughly preserved on this silly blog.

Twenty Seven hours in Madrid !!!

We were told not to go to Madrid by numerous sources. And so we limited our stay there to 27 hours, pretty much just a limbo area between Portugal and Italy! We weren't expecting much of the city, but were pleasantly surprised by its charm and its trees... and its random Egyptian temple!?
We actually had a lovely day which was spent temple-ing around, frolicking around, shopping around, sleeping around (i mean, just sleeping!)
We spent our night eating out and gigglying for hours with our awesome roomates over ridiculous things (introducing the great Anthony Shelton) "Please mind the gap!" ;)
All in all, we have decided that you can't judge a place until you experience it for yourself!
