Sorry, gone travelling.

In May 2011 I set off on a 7 month journey. With nothing but a backpack on my back, my best friend by my side and a return ticket to EUROPE... Needless to say it was by far the most amazing 7 months of my absolute life!!! Somehow I was motivated enough (and stupid enough) to keep a travel blog going through the whole adventure, and so now, with technology being as fabulous as it is, our story is now roughly preserved on this silly blog.

SOFIA

We loved Alexander Nevsky Cathedral so much, Sarah and I are going to attempt to make a birthday cake in the shape of it. (Mission impossible?? Maybe- but there is no harm in trying, right?)

SO, Little Miss Sofia. We had a beautiful time here, we stayed with the sweetest couple, Deyana and Bobi who taught us how to cook Banitsa and tasty strudels, took us out to the most amazing Tea House (we are now aspiring to become tea experts) took us to a traditional restaurant (and gave us an insight to the dancing) and even provided us with slippers! Probably the best way to make someone feel completely at home is to give them slippers- it was so sweet. Bobi and Deyana are a big contributing factor to why we have loved Bulgaria so much!!!
