Wandering Europe!
Here we go now

In May 2011 I set off on a 7 month journey. With nothing but a backpack on my back, my best friend by my side and a return ticket to EUROPE... Needless to say it was by far the most amazing 7 months of my absolute life!!! Somehow I was motivated enough (and stupid enough) to keep a travel blog going through the whole adventure, and so now, with technology being as fabulous as it is, our story is now roughly preserved on this silly blog.

So close to the end, but still having the time of our lives...

We were laughing as we walked out of Innsbruck station. Why? Because even though infront of us loomed snowy mountain tops, the sun was shining and it wasn't nearly as cold as it was in Vienna. I was able to walk around without gloves.. WITHOUT GLOVES :D !!! This was big. This was exciting. And so, I instantly fell in love with the beautiful city that was surrounded by mountains.  We felt restricted in Vienna as to how long we could stay outside due to the weather conditions, but here we were frolicking around Innsbruck :)

Here we were staying with BERNIE, an extremely awesome guy. The people you associate within a location REALLY makes a difference on your experience. The one thing I won't miss about traveling is the fact you meet amazing people, but then three or so days later, you have to say goodbye, and you know there is a strong chance you won't see them again. It's heartbreaking.

Within our two nights here we really enjoyed ourselves. We spent the first night drinking more hot wine, going to his friends for drinks and ending up the night in an Irish Pub.
We felt a bit rough the next morning, and so we went all out and cooked a big beautiful breakfast. Despite the hangover we decided to take a walk of the city, and Bernie gave us a inside tour. The fresh air did us good! It's got to be up there in my favoruite cities,  it is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous mountains and the clear blue Danube runs right through it! By evening we did the extreme and went ICE SKATING in the city center. It was so magical. Afterwards his friends came and met up with us and we had more hot wine and finished the night once again in the Irish Pub.

We seem to be drinking most nights lately, it is insane, but hey, It's Europe... I am looking forward to going home and taking it easy for a while!
