Wandering Europe!
Here we go now

In May 2011 I set off on a 7 month journey. With nothing but a backpack on my back, my best friend by my side and a return ticket to EUROPE... Needless to say it was by far the most amazing 7 months of my absolute life!!! Somehow I was motivated enough (and stupid enough) to keep a travel blog going through the whole adventure, and so now, with technology being as fabulous as it is, our story is now roughly preserved on this silly blog.

A shout out to the best community out there!!
Where do I even begin? We first started couchsurfing back in England, a good 6 months ago. And since we have spent 110 nights  being hosted by amazing couchsurfers.
The experiences you get when couchsurfing are great, experiences you would never come across just staying ina hostel or hotel. We've made so many great friends, been hosted by so many open minded fantastic people, had the worlds most interesting conversations and each and every one of our hosts have made such an impact to our experience!
We've certainly had some crazy times, from bungee jumping, to English guys teaching us how to play tennis. From cooking classes to yoga classes. From ice skating to drinking in a hundred or so pubs. From having the best conversations to deep emotional times, with people you just met a day or two ago! We've been to a 4th of July party, a Toga party, a party in a cinema, a party where most guys ended up naked :S We've been to poker nights, tea houses and well, more pubs!
We get the local perspective,we meet the local friend groups, we hang out in the local bars where the tourists are far away.

We've been given such hospitality along the way, and we have couchsurfing to thank. It has opened our minds and made us so trusting of the world. We are so excited to go home and open up our couches for travlers coming out to Melbourne, and can't wait to show the hospitality that everyone has shown to us :)
SO to the following people, i just wanted to say a HUGE thank you :)
